Silway 590  is an organosilicon material with hydroxyl groups at both ends of the molecule, which is polymerized from siloxane monomers

The chemical name is αω,-dihydroxy polydimethylsiloxane, and the hydroxy silicone oil with a viscosity of 2500mpa.S or more is called 107 silicone rubber. In addition to the general properties of methyl silicone oil, this product also has the reactivity of hydroxyl. It can be used to make some new materials or cross-linked into elastomers (or membranes).

 

Key Features

 

It has excellent electrical insulation and high and low temperature resistance, high flash point and low freezing point. It can be used for a long time under the conditions of -50ºC~+250ºC and low viscosity temperature.

Coefficient, high compressibility, low surface tension, water resistance, good humidity resistance, chemical inertness and physiological inertness.

 

Typical Application

 

1.Main raw material in RTV mold silicone rubber, defoamer and silicone glass glue;

2.Because of its good electrical insulation, it can be used as insulation and moisture-proof, shock-proof and heat-resistant perfusion sealing materials for electronic          components and assemblies such as radios, electronic instruments and semiconductors;

3.Rubber roller material in automotive and machinery industry;

4.Rubber roller material in textile, plastic and printing industry;

5.Caulking sealing material in construction industry;

6.It has very good release property, Special, suitable for manufacturing precision molds and impression materials.

Packing and storage

 
200 L / iron drum (Net. weight: 200kg / drum. Gross weight: 218kg / drum) or 50 kg / sealed plastic barrel.

Storage in dry, ventilated place under normal temperature. No mixed storage with acid and alkali substance. The storage place should be provided fire equipment.

Do not use those equipment and tools which easy to produce sparks.
