Silway 715 is an aqueous solution of potassium methyl siliconate and is used in diluted form for the hydrophobic impregnation of mineral construction materials to make them water-repellent.
Silway 715 develops its water-repellent properties by reaction with atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2). The active substance formed from the silicone masonry water repellent is polymethylsilicic acid. As with all siliconates, however, Silway 715 can cause a white deposit on the surface of colored construction materials, or if used outside the application guidelines.

Excellent water resistant, reduce water absorption into the substrate, thus reducing spalling due to freeze-thaw and efflorescence, thereby increasing the life of the substrate.
Colorless protection, preserve the natural appearance of the substrate.
Penetrating and breathable.
• Low-fired clay products immediately after they have been made: roof tiles, facing bricks, floor tiles, flower pots
• Aerated concrete
• Gypsum and gypsum-based fiber boards
• Iight fillers, such as perlite, vermiculites and aerated concrete granules
• Insulating materials
For surface treatment, dilute Silway 715 21-25 times with water.First clean up the dust and oil of the substrate surface, then spray the diluted water repellent on the substrate surface. Cured the substrate for at least 1 day.
Impregnate tiles processing, dilute Silway 715 60 times with water, then impregnate tiles into the diluted water repellent for 60s. Cured the substrate for at least 1 day.
Silway 715 must be stored in the tightly closed original container.
