Silway 5320  is a clear viscous liquid, where approximately 20% of an ultra high viscosity dimethicone gum is dispersed into iso-paraffin.

How to use                                                 

Emulsion Products
Silway 5320 can be incorporated directly into the oil phase of the formulations with high speed mixing. As it is volatile, it should be added slowly below 60°C (158°F) after the formation of the emulsion using a high shear mixer.

Non-emulsion Products
It is advised to add cosmetic ingredients to Silway 5320 and not vice versa, to avoid the dimethicone gum precipitating out of the solution due to an incompatibility with other cosmetic ingredients. Recommended use level is from 5 to 15% in skin care products and up to 40% in hair care applications such as split ends repair products.
