Hydroxy silicone oil is the organosilicon material polymerized by siloxane monomer  with hydroxyl groups at both ends of molecules. With Cas No. 63148-60-7/70131-67-8. Therefore it has the special performance brought by the lively hydroxyl. Below is molecular structure:

Silicone oil is a colorless, odorless, non-toxic and non-irritating products, with stable chemical stability, heat and cold resistance, water repellent, lubricity, high refraction,and compatibility with commonly used chemical ingredients.

Application

Silicone Rubber	Small molecular hydroxyl silicone oil (25 - 30 cp Viscosity, 8% hydroxy conctent) is superior silicone rubber structure controller.
	Replace Dihydroxydiphenylsilane, or for silicone rubber,it simplify and improve processing performance (save heat treatment)
	Used as main raw material in RTV mold silicone rubber, defoamer and silicone glass cement.
Paper	Medical and high viscosity products are used as anti-adhesion processing in advanced quality paper,such as label backing sheet,asphalt wrapping paper and sealing tapes base paper
Electronics	It is used as major ingredients or one composition of insulation paint
Leather	Main ingredients for leather smooth agent and brightening agent

Usage

Use curing agent to solidify and cross-link. 

Moreover, in anti-adhesion paper, use coupling agent to fix first. 

Curing agent normally is 3%-5% of base glue, coupling agent is 0.5%-1.0%. 

             1.In most cases, use solvent to dilute 10 times of base glue 

             2.Add curing agent and coupling agent 

             3.Stir to be uniform spreading on base material, at home temperature or solidify by heating.(By home temperature, time is 30mins; By heating, 30seconds at 120 -150ºC) 

 

In sealant and RTV,solvents are not needed. 

Add curing agents directly and stir to be uniform, after defoaming 30-120mins, it can be solidified.

Storage and transportation

Do not mix with acid or alkaline materials, alkoxy silane or water vapor at high temperature, otherwise there is tendency of curing and viscosity change.
