Silway 9201 is a linear polydimethylsiloxane with hydroxypropyl  terminated on double ends . Various properties of Silway 9201, such as wear resistance, softness, etc., are better than the general polyether modified silicone oil with primary hydroxyl groups.    Unlike other polyether modified silicone oil, Silway 9201 does not contain excess unreacted monofunctional hydroxyl group which can impair the isocyanate reactivity of a polyurethane, resulting in a polyurethanewith inferior crosslinking.

 

Silway 9201 polyurethane modifier (PU modifier) is a modifier used in polyurethane production. Moreover, Carbinol Silicone Oil (CAS No.222416-17-3) is often used for the modification of polyurethane resins.

 

Typical Applications
 

As urethane modifier to improve softness, flexibility, lubricity, breathability, compatibility, abrasion resistance and water repellency of synthetic leather.
