Description

Silway 715 water repellent is a water-dilutable solution of potassium methyl siliconate designed to impart water repellency to a wide variety of surfaces. Supplied at a concentration of 52 percent in water.

Silway 715 water repellent is usually diluted to a concentration of 3 percent or less before application.

Silway 715 water repellent reacts with carbon dioxide in the air to form an insoluble water-resistant treatment within 24 hours.

Applications
 ---As a surface treatment in applications that utilize its ability to impart a water repellent surface and reduce water absorption.

--- For use on bricks, sandstone, limestone, and ceramics.

Usage

---Before construction, slightly moisten the surface of the substrate for absorption.

---When preparing cement mortar, the mass ratio of Silway 715 to cement is 1:100 or 1:50.  According to the ratio, first mix Silway 715 with water, and then add it to the cement mortar for mixing.  

---After painting, allow the treated surface to dry naturally, and paint a second time before the surface is dry.  If it is used on the surface of stone or ceramic tile, wipe off the excess liquid with a soft cloth before the surface is dry after construction, and keep it for at least 24h without water.

Attiention

+++Before use, a small sample test should be carried out to determine whether the concentration is suitable.  

+++If the temperature is too low, the product will freeze the crystal structure. When heated to room temperature, the solution will become transparent, the active ingredients of the product will not be destroyed, and you can continue to use it.
