Usage

Silway 8240 Coating must be blended with appropriate crosslinkers and catalysts.

 

 

Bath Preparation (Cont.)

 

1. Add crosslinker such as Silway 8240 Crosslinker and blend thoroughly.

2. Add catalyst such as Silway 8240 Catalyst and blend thoroughly again.

3. The following formulation is recommended as a starting point:

         4. Optional to add HRA or LRA to modify release force performance.

 

 

Bath Life

The life of the formulated bath viscosity varies considerably with the specific formulation, and the temperature of the surroundings. Under 25°C, the bath should still be usable within 6 hours.

 

 

Handling Precautions

Direct eye or skin contact may cause slight irritation, which can be relieved by flushing the eye with water for 15 minutes. It is recommended that safety glasses and rubber or plastic gloves be worn when handling this product.

 

 

Usable Life And Storage

When stored at or below 30°C (86°F) in the original unopened containers, this product has a usual life of 24 months from the data of production.
