Description
Silway 630 is an alkyl aryl modified silicone oil.
When Silway 630 is used as a release agent, the produced components should be cleaned, and then painted or glued. Usually, only the surface needs to be cleaned with conventional solvents.
Incidental contact between paint components generally does not cause "fish-eye cracks." However, as with any lubricant or grease, if parts are coated with a large amount of Silway 630 and not cleaned properly, slight "fish-eye cracks", "orange peel-like wrinkles" or poor adhesion may occur during painting.
Before being used in mass production operations, compatibility assessments should be made for the coating or bonding systems used in subsequent processing operations.
When Silway 630 is used as a leveling agent, the addition amount is 0.1%~0.3% of the total formula. Silway 630 is also suitable for wetting and dispersing pigments and fillers in coating and leather.
